The Vow

I often get hooked on to book by the cover art. It’s the #1 way to get me if I have never read a book by an author before. That’s exactly what happened here with The Vow by Natalie Wrye.

The plot of this 250 book is – Breaking a vow is sometimes harder than keeping one.
But that’s what I did…the second I let my best friend’s brother into my bed.
Seven years ago, I broke every girl code in the Rule Book by falling for Brett Jackson.
Tall. Tattooed. And totally off-limits.
Until last week. When I find myself in trouble in a new city, with no one to turn to…but him.

My View – We have been over my avoidance of all stories that set off my anxiety. Unfortunately that is exactly what I stumbled in to here, but I couldn’t stop!

My husband would keep asking me if I didn’t like the book because I kept putting it down. Then I would explain the anxiety and he would tell me to read a different one. I just looked at him like he was crazy and should have known better because it had to be finished, it was that good.

Yes, I may have put it down a couple of times but it was worth it. The push, the pull, the suspense and the sizzling connection made this story addicting.
